1969 Mustang Grande, not just the plain jane mini motor variety of the Mustang

Almost any engine could be ordered in the Grande, the 428 CJ didn't get into many. None got the 428SCJ.
But at least one of the Grande coupes, from only 243 Cobra Jet 428s, was put into a Mustang coupe

Most Grande Mustangs were 115hp 200 cu in six cylinders, some were 155hp sixers with 250cu inches.

The Grande was 300 pounds heavier than a regular Mustang coupe, 55 pounds was insulation

Carroll Shelby remembrance at JBA, an awesome display and experience of dozens of Cobras and Mustangs roaring their engines all at the same time

Mustang Grande (1969 or 70 I think)

I had just posted about the Mustang Grande a couple days before seeing this one (best condition I've ever seen one in) so I figured I better get a gallery of it so you can see the top luxury option line for the Mustang.

Notice 4 electric window switches, clock in front of the shifter, ceter console armrest

the interior is in cherry condition

I've never seen a Wally World sticker before, I thought it was just a National Lampoon movie destination
