The Duckmobile Art Car by Jen Mulder Side

The Duckmobile was just sent in by Jen Mulder a Toyota 89 Camry with a whopping 260,000 miles covered in rubber ducks. She lives in Madison WI and fortunately for Jen there is plenty of room for more rubber ducks to be added to the sides and hubcaps. Jen also made the big time in a feature done by her local news about her business The Electric Needle and her amazing and fun Duckmobile, great job!!! That blue really makes those ducks stand out:):):)

The Bubble Monster Strikes Again

The Bubble Monster art car was created by Sonny, a 93 Toyota Camry 4 door turned into a 2 door sculpted using spray foam.

It's an interactive art car that makes bubbles that come out from the tail, eyes, nose, teeth  and the main body. It also has a nifty tunnel so
kids can crawl through the car.

Sonny is also working on adding more interactive features to the Bubble Monster and is available for parties and corporate gigs. Nice work Sonny.

Slab City Campground Art Van - Cheap Holiday Destination

This art van covered with all kinds stuff you find on the side of the road can be seen at a free campground in Slab City, Niland CA. at a former WWII US Marine Base. There is no water, electricity or even a phone but there is a CB-radio owned by a permanent resident to this site named Linda who acts as newscaster/messenger at 6:00 pm every day on channel 23. Its a must see camp ground, it even has a public library. It might become a hot spot in the coming years as people look for more economical holiday destinations.

Art Car with Plenty Of Trunk Space

Gregory Beylerian is the creator of this 1968 Volvo that was initially supposed to be race car. A couple of years later he found all these elephants in the trash near a toy factory in downtown L.A. and that is when he decided to rescue and recycle so he covered his car in about 100 stuffed pachyderms–he also added graffiti-style decorative paint, and his life has been a circus ever since. That is what I call wildlife conservation.

Christmas Art Car - For some its not over yet

Pink Barbie Porsche Transformed into Art Car

I found this wonderful pink Barbie Porsche now totally transformed by the creative handiwork of two boys named Noah age six and Leo age four. They got under the hood and went to town gluing a box-load of found trash and marbles with blue base coat of paint. These guys definitely have a great future ahead of them and will no doubt take the art car world by storm in the coming years.

Jungle Bug Art truck finds new life on internet.

This beautiful Jungle Bug Art Car is brought to you by Amanda Jensen a 1987 Ford Ranger with a shell. She said this about her art car:

I started decorating it in 1996. I used "fake plant" leaves, plastic jewels, One-Shot paint, and for the first years, many large & giant toy bugs. Now, there are only some giant ants painted blue on top. It was my ONLY vehicle, a "daily driver" art-car, until November 2007. I did it all myself and never had a garage or driveway so it was street-parking only. Many people loved it very much, but it never got very famous or publicized. It doesn't run well anymore. Alas!! I love it! I deeply miss being able to drive it everywhere.

Amanda thank you for submitting your Jungle Bug Art Truck it is truly a very beautiful art car and I do hope my readers will post lots of comments.

Oldest Vintage Art Car on Record from 1929

This 1922 Dodge camper conversion art car was created by June and Farrar Burn and an autobiography was about in June Burn's book "Living High". more...

quote from Living High.

"June and Farrar lived full and interesting lives free of materialistic indignities. June wrote, 'The secret of living on so small an income is to not want anything.' Farrar said he was happiest when he was broke and out of work. It gave him complete financial security. They put much trust in life and didn't waste a minute of it." - Skye Burn, Waldron Island, 1992.

This spectacular photo of the Ballad Bungalow and the Burn family was taken sometime in early 1929 on G Street in Washington, D.C. Farrar's handywork is seen here with the mini-cabin and smokestack atop their Dodge Brothers automobile.

Bubble Truck Art Car - never a dull moment

The Bubble Truck is a modified 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab pickup truck "sculptured" with a variety of ornaments and other devices installed solely for the creation of making bubbles of all sorts of shapes and sizes. When I was emailed this art car and I had to post it to cheer up those of you in cold weather today. This art truck is also available for private parties, birthday parties, parades, corporate events, and charitable causes. Never a dull moment with this ride.
